UETDRMP007 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel & HLTAID009 Provide CPR Training
This course is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed to handle emergency situations involving CPR (HLTAID009) and rescue procedures in the presence of live low voltage panels (UETDRMP007). By completing this training, you will not only learn how to perform CPR effectively but also understand the necessary rescue protocols for individuals in contact with live low voltage panels or apparatus. This course is crucial for anyone working in transmission, distribution, or rail functions as it outlines the mandatory requirements for safety observers as per the NSW Work Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (Clause 161). Emphasizing health, safety, and risk management processes at all levels, this course instills a culture of adherence to safety practices as an integral part of daily work routines.
This course has the prerequsite units of:
HLTAID009 Provide Cardioplumanary Resusitation
UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.
OR
UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
CSS Training conducts the UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker course as our Electrical Safety and Awareness course.
Assessment
Participants will be assessed via questionnaire and practical demonstration of skills. Participants with literacy/numeracy difficulties or physical conditions should speak with the Trainer to discuss alternative assessment approaches.
Qualification
On successful completion, each participant will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment listing both Units of Competency.
Frequency of Training
Public Sessions are held at 37 Crescent Road Waratah NSW 2298. Private sessions can be held for groups of 6 or more.
