MDG25 is a Mechanical Design Guideline produced by the NSW Government (Department of Resources and Geoscience). This technical reference applies to all mines and declared plant in NSW and should be used in all locations where Welding, Cutting and grinding is carried out.

This non accredited training course will provide participants with valuable knowledge on the dangers of Oxy/fuels systems, requirements to conduct electrical welding activities safely & power tool safety with an emphasis on angle grinder safety.

 

Course Outline

  • Gas Cutting Safety
  • Electrical Welding Safety
  • Angle Grinder Safety
  • Practical demonstration of flashback arrestors used on gas cutting / heating equipment 

 

Qualification 

On successful completion, each participant will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.

 

Frequency of Training

Public sessions will be held weekly at 37 Crescent Road Waratah NSW 2298. Private sessions are available for groups of 5 or more.
