THIS UNIT IS DELIVERED AS PART OF OUR CONTROL WORKPLACE EMERGENCIES COURSE

This unit of competency is designed to impart the necessary skills and knowledge required to effectively demonstrate and instruct on the use of first attack firefighting equipment. This includes portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and fire blankets. The focus is on ensuring that individuals can correctly and safely operate this equipment during emergency situations. It's a critical component of various training packages and is essential for roles where fire safety management is a responsibility. This unit has been updated over time to reflect current industry standards and practices.

Assessment

Participants are assessed by both a written and practical assessment. Participants with literacy/numeracy difficulties or physical conditions should speak with our Trainer about alternate assessment methods. 

Qualification

On successful completion, each participant is issued with a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment.

For Group or Employer Bookings:

2. Select an upcoming course and click “Enrol” under “Group Booking.”

3. Create or log in as a Booking Contact, ensuring the addition of the organization’s name.

4. Enter participant details, using personal email addresses to facilitate access to course materials and certificates.

5. Complete the booking process and select to pay through a credit card or an Invoice, with the option to enter a Purchase Order Number.

Student Portal Access

During the enrolment process, individuals may be required to establish an account for the CSS Training Student Portal, which provides access to course overviews, announcements, training resources, and certificate documentation.

Onsite Training

We can conduct onsite training courses at your facility under the following requirements:

Minimum of 4 Participants Maximum of 16 Participants
Suitable Room for theory component Parking Space for our Training Vehicle
