The TRG Hot Work (Cutting and Welding) course equips workers and supervisors with the skills to safely plan, permit, and perform hot work at mines and petroleum sites. Participants learn how to identify hazards, apply control measures, follow permit requirements, and meet all regulatory and site‑specific standards. This course supports compliance with industry legislation and ensures hot work activities—such as welding, grinding, and cutting—are carried out safely and consistently across high‑risk environments

- Hot Work Management Plans
- Gas Cutting Safety
- Electrical Welding Safety
- Angle Grinder Safety
- Practical demonstration of flashback arrestors used on gas cutting / heating equipment
Qualification
On successful completion, each participant will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.
Frequency of Training
Public sessions will be held monthly at 37 Crescent Road Waratah NSW 2298. Private sessions are available for groups of 6 or more.
